As all of us at HUNT Real Estate Corp continue to manage through the COVID-19 crisis, I felt it important to keep you updated as to how I can and will always continue to serve and guide you in your real estate needs.
While the HUNT office is closed until the New York State mandate is lifted, I am continuing to work virtually. While I'm working remotely, our leadership team at HUNT has and continues to work with many of our business partners to ensure that real estate closings happen, mortgage financing closes, and all my clients’ needs are met. Thankfully, many of the technological tools needed to accomplish all of this were already implemented at HUNT long before this event took place. So while this is certainly not “business as usual,” I am fully equipped and prepared to meet this challenge head-on.
HUNT has designed roadmaps so that I can continue listing homes, host a virtual showing, and help my clients navigate purchasing or selling a home — all 100% virtually. While the real estate brokerage business has not been deemed essential, certain components of the transaction have been so designated. For example, appraisers can still appraise properties, but they will be “drive-by” rather than interior inspections. They may ask the home seller to complete a questionnaire or provide interior photos of certain aspects of the home.
Additionally, our HUNT Mortgage Consultants remain accessible for our exclusive Pre-Purchase Commitments, “Second Looks”, purchase money applications and refinances.
